Nigerian Doctors have suspended their nationwide strike which they
kicked off on the 1st of July 2014. Although details of the strike is
still very sketchy, they made the announcement via their official
twitter page this morning and a press statement is expected to follow
later today, Sunday 4, August, 2014.
NMA president, Kayode Obembe, told journalists
that
the association decided to suspend the strike because of the Ebola
outbreak. He said all Nigerian doctors are expected to report to work today Monday August 25th.
