Nigeria Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi has sent an official notice to
the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) formally confirming that he will
stay on to continue as the national team's coach.
Reports from the NFF office in Abuja claim an assistant coach submitted Keshi's acceptance of the NFF's formal offer, via letter, on his behalf.
It is alleged that Keshi has asked that the NFF to provide him with an official residence and car in the coming contract.
Other supposed demands include timely payment of his monthly salary and full control of hiring and oversight of backroom staff.
Stephen Keshi in his time as Super Eagles coach led the Eagles to win the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time in 19 years and to qualification (and entry into the Round of 16) in a fifth World Cup.
Nigeria will play Rwanda, in Nigeria, on September 7th, 2014. This will be the Eagles’ first qualifying match for the Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place in Morocco in 2015.
